SkySwitch PRO NET for 10Micron Mounts — V2 Controller Version

SkySwitch PRO NET for the 10Micron V2 controller is a network-connected control and synchronization unit designed for remote and unattended observatories. It combines mount power control, GPS/PPS-based synchronization and live environmental data in one compact device.

This hardware variant is equipped with an integrated 1 m control cable terminated with a 3.5 mm jack plug, as required by supported 10Micron V2 controllers. The cable is used by SkySwitch PRO NET to remotely switch the mount on and off.

During normal operation, SkySwitch PRO NET communicates over wired Ethernet and continues performing its configured functions without requiring the Windows application to remain open.

Network-native observatory control

Designed for the 10Micron V2 controller

This version of SkySwitch PRO NET is intended for compatible 10Micron mounts equipped with a V2 controller and 3.5 mm jack connection. The integrated 1 m cable provides the dedicated hardware connection required for remote mount power control.

Mount communication, operational data exchange and status monitoring are performed over the native 10Micron TCP/IP interface.

Please check your controller and connector type before ordering. If your mount uses a V3 controller with the 6-pin AUX connector, select the dedicated SkySwitch PRO NET V3 version instead.

Simple configuration and reliable daily operation

Initial network configuration is performed through the dedicated USB SERVICE connection using the SkySwitch PRO NET application for Windows 11. Once a static network address has been saved to the device, normal operation requires only power and a wired Ethernet connection.

The application provides separate connection status for SkySwitch PRO NET and the mount, access to live GPS/PPS and environmental data, manual synchronization controls and configuration of autonomous operation.

Built for remote observatories

SkySwitch PRO NET was developed specifically for installations where dependable remote access is essential. Automatic connection and reconnection, autonomous synchronization and device-stored settings allow the system to resume normal operation after a computer or network restart.

For best GPS performance, install the device where its integrated antenna has a clear view of the sky.
